 COVID-19 Return to Work Preparedness

Pandemic Preparedness Plan & Protocol 

During a pandemic, employers play a key role in protecting employees' health and safety as well as in limiting the impact on the economy and society. Employers will likely experience employee absences, changes in patterns of commerce and interrupted supply and delivery schedules. Employers use our Pandemic Preparedness Plan & Protocol to help identify risk levels in workplace settings and appropriate control measures that include good hygiene, cough etiquette, social distancing, the use of personal protective equipment, and staying home from work when ill. Proper planning with a program in place for infection control and industrial hygiene practices will allow employers to better protect their employees and lessen the impact of a pandemic on a company's operation.

Onsite Temperature Check Stations

HTH Safety Solutions provides site specific implementation and staffing of temperature check stations in response to the COVID-19 recommended precautions for employers. Following a thorough determination of station set-up logistics and roll-out, qualified personnel perform onsite non-contact infrared temperature scans to employees and visitors entering the building.

COVID-19 Safety Coordinator

COVID-19 Safety Coordinators are available onsite to assist with site-specific protocols includes temperature checks, monitoring and distributing PPE, proper use of shared common spaces, and ensuring appropriate social distancing.

Social Distancing Workplace Assessment

HTH provides operational and physical space configurations with development of common space use policies and procedures. Our team is led by Certified Environmental Access Consultants (CEAC) providing environmental safety assessments, modification necessities and oversight of modification projects.

Communicable Disease & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Educate your employees on the recognition, prevention and management of communicable diseases and proper PPE use. Training is available virtually or in-person to assist employees in understanding the hazards associated with COVID-19 in the workplace and measures they can take to keep themselves safe.

Respirator Fit Testing

Per OSHA, respirator fit testing is required for any worker who is required to use a tight-fitting respirator on the job. Employees must be fit tested before use of a respirator in the workplace, and must be retested at least every 12 months to make sure that the respirator still properly fits. Fit testing must be performed with the specific make, model, style, and size of respirator that the employee will be using. HTH provides onsite Qualitative and Quantitative respirator fit testing.
